God didn’t spare Daniel from the lions den, he spared him in the lions den
God didn’t spare Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego from the fiery furnace, he spared them in the fiery furnace.
God didn’t spare Jonah from the belly of the whale, he spared him in the belly of the whale.
God didn’t spare Joseph from slavery by his own brothers. He spared him in the journey to redemption and forgiveness.
God didn’t spare Esther from her fear, he spared her in her courage.
God didn’t spare Job in the despair, he spared him in his faith.
Just because Jesus is on the boat with you doesn’t mean a storm won’t come. The storms will come and howl loudly.
But, you can exist peacefully on the boat just like Jesus, because the hand that held him also holds you.
The God that stood with Daniel, Shadrach, Meshach, Abednego, Jonah, Joseph, Ether, and Job on the worst days of their lives is
the same one that is with you too.
